Welcome to STEITZ!
In the far west of Rheinhessen, bordering the wine-growing regions Nahe and Pfalz, our wine estate is situated in the picturesque wine village Stein-Bockenheim. What is characteristic about the truly beautiful landscape characterized by wine culture around Stein-Bockenheim is its cool climate with moderate rainfall, vineyards at higher altitudes and clear temperature differences between day and night.
After 13 years of an “illegitimate relationship” with organic winegrowing we took the final logical step and initiated the registration process for the official conversion to organic viticulture on 1 September 2019.
On this website we invite you to take a virtual trip to the STEITZ wine world. On our pages you will learn more about our volcanic rock, our vineyard sites, our philosophy and much more.
TIP: Under WINE you will find descriptions of all our wines, our current price list, seasonal wine samplers and your order options.
Nothing, however, is more authentic than to taste STEITZ wines where they are produced – and with the people whose ideals are reflected in them. Therefore, please feel welcome to visit us here at our estate in Stein-Bockenhein at any time. We will be pleased to open our tasting room and spend some time with you. Simply send us an e-mail, or call us beforehand to make arrangements.
And for those of you who have even more time: A very warm welcome to our newly opened STEITZ Bed & Breakfast! In our five splendid deluxe rooms we connect a vinophile atmosphere with design and stylish ambiance and in this way provide you with a location for days full of indulgence. Share with us the passion with which we create our distinctive wines and the sense of simply being in harmony with what surrounds us.
We live wine culture and invite you to do the same. Here. At STEITZ.
We are looking forward to meeting you.
